In a Champions League semi-final that will go down in history, Manchester City and Real Madrid played out a thrilling 4-3 match at the Etihad Stadium.
City came out firing in the second period and took the lead through Riyad Mahrez. Kevin De Bruyne had given the hosts an early advantage, but Karim Benzema equalized for Madrid just before the break.
Real Madrid then took the lead for the first time in the match when Vinícius Júnior scored a stunning goal. However, City fought back and Fernandinho leveled the scores with a header.
The match looked set to go to extra time, but Benzema struck again in the dying minutes to give Madrid a dramatic victory. The Spanish giants will now face Liverpool in the final in Paris.
